Dr. Devendra S. Rawat

He is the chairman of MSME Export Promotion Council and advisor on board of FMSDG. He is renowned and nationally acclaimed for his irreplaceable contribution in providing leadership to India’s apex industry chamber i.e. ASSOCHAM where he has served for over 2 decades as Chief Executive Officer. Dr Rawat is known internationally for his acumenship in spearheading knowledge management for trade and industrial development of India at a time when economic growth of country was passing through challenging time.

He, as Secretary General of ASSOCHAM had transformed the state of affairs by leading in an unmatched and unparalleled manner for the policy advocacy on subject of national interests including- business, industry and socio-economic issues. His high level interventions for various amendments in regulatory frameworks in a holistic manner i.e. from central and state government level to India’s international policies positioned the chamber as the country’s Knowledge Chamber. Dr. Rawat has traveled extensively around the world. He has supervised publications of a vast number of studies, periodicals, books etc. He has also received many awards and appreciations for his excellence and professionalism.
